Publication of the total expenditure of the Inquiry is part of its commitment to the principles of openness and transparency.

The table below shows a breakdown of the Inquiry costs incurred between 1 February 2017 and 31 August 2020.  The total cost of £7.362m relates to the direct costs of the Inquiry only.  It does not include any other departmental costs incurred by the Northern Ireland Civil Service.
